Kate is a big girl!

Our biggest news around here is Kate is using the potty, most of the time. I decided to do a trial run on the potty training to gauge them better. After some signs of interest, Luke did a 180 and is back to diapers. This is no suprise, as Luke has always been wary of change.

Kate however has taken to being a big girl and loves her Skittles that are her reward. She does very well as long as you are making her sit on the potty at regular intervals. And today we had a huge success, she pooped in the potty. We've got a long way to go but have already made amazing headway. The key to our success is big girl underwear(training pants) not pullups while she's awake.

We stayed busy the rest of April. We spent a lot of time with Nana before she headed back to Indonesia yesterday. We went to Aggie Muster in Lake Jackson so Ryan could help Grandpapa with the cooking. Ryan, had his guys weekend at the ranch and the kids and I visited 2 cool places in LJ with Nana, the Sea Center and Brazoria Museum. We have survived all the rain, which has left the yard nice and green.

Ryan is off to the ranch for work weekend and the kids have 2 birthday parties tomorrow. So this weekend will be a busy one. I'll do my best to get some new pics posted soon.
